Emilia Wesby is the Founder/ CEO of Bridges Aid Services, LLC. Bridges Aid Services provides home care services for people who receive services through Home and Community Base waiver or the AC program or for other interested people.
Emilia once owned and managed a trucking company that delivers house-building material to her customers. That was a profitable and meaningful business because interacting and communicating with others are positive qualities that Emilia possesses; Nevertheless, there was always a longing for something more to offer humanity. That void filled when Emilia pursued a teaching career and realized that her calling is to provide care and help to those who need her the most. Even after a full day’s work, Emilia felt the need to provide an extracurricular activity to help those children who have a more challenging learning experience.
As Emilia experienced continual growth, she always felt the need to expand and offer her service to more individuals. From 2009 to the present, Emilia worked in various capacities, providing effective and efficient person-centered services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in in-home service and group home settings. During Emilia’s years of professional growth, she has worked above and beyond to provide service to not only the people she directly serves or any individual that needs assistance but she also provides appropriate, effective communication and support to staff, legal representative, case managers, and stakeholders. During the past ten years, Emilia acquired tremendous growth, knowledge, leadership skills, and experience that helps her to confidently and enthusiastically provide maximum care for the people she serves. This growth motivated Emilia to start her own business, Bridges Aid Services. Bridges Aid Services is growing rapidly and consistently.
Emilia’s passion is hospitality and genuine care for humanity especially those who would be subjected to maltreatment due to their vulnerabilities and disabilities and need protection and advocacy.
